- Our standard lead time is 6-8 weeks ARO.
- What if we have an emergency and need Tuyeres now?
- Building a tuyere is a labor intensive process, and WRIB strongly recommends that every foundry keep a full set of spare tuyeres on-site in case of emergency. However, we always do our best to accommodate our customers with rush orders in extenuating circumstances.
- Can WRIB Manufacturing repair damaged Tuyeres?
- It depends on the extent of damage done to the tuyere. We encourage our customers to send damaged tuyere(s) to us for evaluation. We perform an inspection to determine if repair is possible; if so we will provide a quote and delivery estimate, if not we will issue a scrap credit towards future orders.
- Does WRIB Manufacturing keep critical cupola parts in stock?
- We keep a full line of standard expansion joints, dampers, gaskets, lenses, doors, and many other parts in stock and ready for you.
- How do I get an estimate from WRIB Manufacturing?
- Send us a description of the project with photos and sketches if possible, or call us at 765-294-2841. Let us know the project goals and required completion schedule and we will take it from there.
- Does WRIB Manufacturing need to physically see a product or job site before estimating work?
- Usually a pre-estimate visit is required for larger projects involving field work, but many straightforward jobs can be estimated without a visit if enough information is provided. We never charge customers for estimates even if travel is necessary.
- Why would I hire a melt consultant if we don’t have any obvious problems?
- Our expert service often identifies major cost savings potential even in situations where operators are properly trained and the department is well managed. With the high cost of combustion fuels and maintenance products, WRIB consultancy fees are often justified within days or weeks.
